Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Latin America Marketing Associate (Bilingual) located in Snellville, GA. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for communication with the Spanish-speaking market, conducting market research, assisting in sales efforts, interpreting, translating, and managing marketing projects for Latin America, and the Spanish-speaking community in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Promotional Material Translation: Translate and adapt promotional content from English to Spanish, ensuring the messaging resonates culturally with Hispanic audiences.

• Marketing Optimization Suggestions: Provide insights and recommendations on optimizing communication and marketing strategies to effectively reach and engage the Spanish-speaking community, both abroad and nationally.

• Cultural Liaison for Spanish speaking Community: Act as a cultural bridge by leveraging knowledge of Spanish culture and Spanish language nuances to build strong connections and rapport with the Hispanic community in Georgia.

• Language Support in Business Communications: Serve as the go-to person for Spanish language interpretation and translation in various business communications, meetings, and documentation.

• Community Engagement Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives to actively engage with the Spanish-speaking community, fostering relationships and creating a positive brand image.

• Spanish Language Training: Provide language training and resources to colleagues, ensuring a basic understanding of Spanish language and cultural nuances to facilitate better communication.

• Stay Updated on Cultural Trends: Stay informed about cultural trends, preferences, and current events in both Latin American nations and the local Hispanic community in Georgia to ensure that marketing efforts remain relevant and impactful.

 

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in Spanish

• Experience in market research and sales strategy

• Knowledgeable in marketing practices and techniques

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Cultural Competence: In-depth understanding and appreciation of Hispanic culture, including language nuances, traditions, and social dynamics.

• Translation Expertise: Proven experience in translating promotional materials and business communications from English to Spanish, maintaining accuracy and cultural relevance.

• Marketing and Communication Skills: Background in marketing or communications, with the ability to optimize marketing strategies for the Spanish-speaking community.

• Interpersonal and Relationship-Building Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships within the Spanish speaking community in Georgia.

• Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different communication styles and navigate diverse cultural contexts, demonstrating flexibility in approach.

• Knowledge of Local Hispanic Community: Familiarity with the Hispanic community in Georgia, understanding their preferences, needs, and cultural sensitivities.

• Experience in Community Engagement: Previous experience in developing and implementing community engagement initiatives, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in language translation and cultural adaptation, ensuring the highest quality in promotional materials.

• Continuous Learning and Cultural Awareness: Commitment to staying updated on cultural trends, linguistic changes, and community dynamics to enhance effectiveness in the role.

• 3 years as a Latin America Marketing Associate (Bilingual) 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

 

Preferred

• Native-level Spanish

• Living in, or close to, Snellville, GA

• Experience working within Latin American markets
