How to Put on a Swig®?
Swig® Care Instructions
Before you put on your Swig®, prepare your hair by making sure it is as flat as possible.

Good options for medium to long hair are cornrows or pinning up the hair by making flat sections. Keep the hair distributed evenly over your head to avoid bumps and bulges.

Note: wig liners are recommended and can be used to secure all lengths of hair.
For short hair, simply brush hair back away from your face; for little or no hair, no work is required, you are ready to put on the Swig®.

The proper care of your Swig® will keep it looking new. To take care of your Swig®, follow these simple instructions below:
Using both hands, hold the Swig® by the nape where the label is. Tilt your head slightly forward. You will be putting the Swig® in a front to back motion.
Position the front of the Swig® above your eyebrows, and slip the Swig® on like you would a swimming cap.
01
Place the Swig® in a sink or basin with cold or lukewarm water

IMPORTANT: To prevent fiber damage, do not use a hair dryer, curling iron or other drying aids and keep the Swig® away from all sources of excess heat or open flame (e.g. stoves, ovens, barbecues, cigarette lighters).

NO HAIR DRYER

NO STRAIGHTENER

NO CURLING IRON

NO EXCESS HEAT
Push the front of the Swig® back and forth until it rests slights below your natural hairline. When the Swig® feels comfortable, tuck in any stray hairs
02
Add about 1-2 capfuls of shampoo and immerse. Gently swirl and let soak for about 5 minutes

03
Rinse the Swig® gently in cold water until all shampoo is removed

Style as desired.
04
Wrap the Swig® in a towel and gently pat out excess water.
Do not rub!

05
Spritz a revitalizing conditioner over the entire surface of hair

06
Place your clean Swig® on a wig stand and allow the Swig® to thoroughly air dry. Do not brush or comb the wig until completely dry. When dry, use a wig brush or hair pick to gently restore styling.
